A Look at Sheltering At Home (Part 2)

Life feels a lot different now that we’ve been sheltering at home for nearly three months. While the world is starting to open up a bit around us, we’re still spending most of our time hunkered down at home. We’re going a bit stir crazy, and really missing seeing friends and family, but we’re making the best of it. We’ve celebrated a couple of birthdays and the end of the school year. We’ve had a ton of movie nights and gone through about a zillion books. We’re pros at 1,000+ piece puzzles. We’ve all got an opinion on which mask we like best.

It feels like the world is exploding all around us. Our kids are aware of current events. My husband and I have answered a lot of really hard questions, and talked as a family about ways in which we can support our community. We think it’s important to speak to kids in a way that’s honest, respectful, and age appropriate.

As we make our way through the days, here’s a continued look at our lives, documentary-style. To stay updated on my documentary project, follow along on Facebook and Instagram.

I will begin shooting Family Portrait Sessions again in July. I can’t wait to have families in front of my camera again.
