Moms, Get in the Picture!

I have a confession to make. I am absolutely awful about making sure that I’m in our family photos. As a photographer, my default role is to be the family historian behind the camera. 

Even if you're not a pro photographer, you're probably the one behind the camera too. Am I right? If you're like me, you have hundreds, maybe thousands, of photos of your kids and your family, and you're only in a handful of them. And the ones you are in? They're probably quick selfies taken on your phone. 

Sometimes you wonder if, one day, your kids will look at your family's photos and wonder why their mom isn't in any of them. Let's change that. Let's tell your family's story, and make sure they know that you weren’t just the storyteller – you were part of the story too.
